Difference between Continuous and Particulate Matter:

  • The matter is any substance which is made of atoms. The matter may be particulate and continuous.
  • The particulate matter are substance that has atoms which does not move. It just keeps vibrating in the same position.
  • The continuous matter are substance where the atoms keeps moving from one place to another place.
  • The best example for continuous matter is gas.
  • The best example for particulate matter is rock stones or salt.
