What is the difference between cos A and sec A?​

We know that the secant is the reciprocal of the cosine. Since cosine is the ratio of the adjacent to the hypotenuse, secant is the ratio of the hypotenuse to the adjacent.

cos A = 1/sec A

sec A = 1/cos A

They both are reciprocals of each other.
