In crop production improvement we are improving the produce of the crop to get good outcome.we can accomplish this by getting high quality crops to get a higher yield ,wider adaptability,desirable agronomic characteristics etc.

In crop variety improvement we are improving the variety,quality of the crop.there are mainly two methods to improve crop variety by hybridisation and by genetic engineering.
