data integrity is about ensuring relationship among data entities e.g. purchase data is expected to have customer number populated. a transaction without customer number isn't valid and data integrity is violated is thAt case. it's also type of relationship i.e. 1:1 or 1: many matters in the context of data integrity
data consistency ensures to have correct format and layout of data. you devrlop code with pre- defined format and layout,and reject record if incoming data doesn't meet those criteria which may require human intervention to run analyais.
