malwa plateau is just a point of reference for the central higlands and deccan plateau is part of the Peninsular part of india

Plateu is a type of highland which is consisting of a comparatively flat terrain which is generally higher than the surrounding's area.It is also known as the tableland.

Decan Plateu:

The Decan plateu is a very large plateu which is situated in southwestern part of the India.

Malwa Plateu:

This plateu region is situated in the central western part of the India.It is a historical land territory.
