According to class 10th.

Dehydration- It means removal of water from alcohol in the process of Concentrated H2SO4.
But simply dehydration means removal of water.

Dehydrogenation- It means removal of hydrogen from the saturated hydrocarbon to make it unsaturated.
Hydrogenation- The addition of hydrogen to unsaturated hydrocarbon in the presence of a catalyst like Nickle or pladium is known as hydrogenation.
Dehydrogenation is the reverse process of hydrogenation.
