what is the difference between demand and quantity demanded

demand means only a thing You demanded but quantity of demanded means you have anything in limit.

As we know that .. Demand curve is the graphical reperensation of Demand Schedule.

There are two ways in which demand curve changes

1. Movement along Demand curve.

When Demand of a commodity changes due to its own price, then we call it change in QUANTITY DEMAND.

In this case demand curve move towards upward in case of Increase in price and vice versa.

2. Shift in Demand curve

When demand changes due to factors other than the price of the good, it's is called change in DEMAND.

In this case demand curve shifts to rightward in case of Increase in Demand and vice versa
