Demand is something which we do for things such as a big house a profitable business, own car etc, wish for luxurious life
It's sometimes a forceful action...
As see, God has given us lives, air is free, water is free, food was free (because now there is huge environmental loss for which food is becoming unavailable) ...still we demand for AC, mineral water, lusty juices etc...

So, conclusion is Demand is something to fulfill our own higher desires

Now come to requirement..
Require verb is used to ask for something..
See our basic requirements such as food shelter clothes... These are required for every human and other living beings (clothes not for animals and birds)

Concluding it, requirements are something we need to live a lively life..
