Answer:

Diagonal  of square is the line which are have end points as the two opposite vertex .

But side of square is the line which has the adjacent vertex as end points.

Diagonals are the intersecting lines of square which intersect each other at 90°. Square has only 2 diagonals. they can't form square.

whereas Sides are non intersecting boundaries of square. The four lines joining end to end forms square. It means they can form squares.
