what is the difference between dilute solution and aqueous solution?

An aqueous solution is a solution in which the solvent is water. While,dilute solution is a solution in which the concentration of the solvent is larger than the solute. To be noted, anaqueous solution maybe dilute and adilute solution maybeaqueous.
