when the actual words are spoken by a person
it is said to be in the direct speech and when the words are reported by someone else in his words it is said to be in the indirect speech whereas when the subject does the action , the sentence is said to be in the active voice
and when the subject is not doing the action, the sentence is said to be in the passive voice.
