Displacement reaction is a kind of reaction where one element substitute another element from its compound .

While , double displacement reaction is a kind of reaction where exchange of ions took place.

in displacement reaction the ions of the less reactive element of a compound is replaced by the more reactive element to form its own ions

but in double displacement reaction the ions of the reactant get exchanged to form a precipitate

in displacement reaction precipitate is not formed

displacement reaction

CuSO4 + Fe -----› FeSO4 + Cu

in this CU is replaced by Fe

that is Fe is more reactive than CU

double displacement reaction

AgNO3 + NaCl -------› AgCl +NaNO3

in this reaction the ions are exchange

I hope it will help you

please market as brainliest
