What is the difference between distance and displacement?​

• DISTANCE: It is basically a measure of the path covered by you between two points. It is measured in metre. It is a Scalar Quantity.
• DISPLACEMENT: While displacement is the shortest displacement between two points. In easy words , it just shows how much a thing has been displaced from its actual location. It is also measured in metre but it is Vector Quantity.
