Distance is actual length but displacment is the length between starting and ending point. Distance can not be zero. But displacment can be zero...

Here \: is \: the \: answer \: of \: your \: question

\textbf{DISTANCE}

→ It is the actual path covered by an object in a given time.

→ It is a scaler quantity (which have magnitude only not direction).

→ It is positive or zero.

→ It is larger than displacement.

→ It depends upon path.

\textbf{DISPLACEMENT}

→ It is the shortest path covered by an body in a given time between initial velocity and final velocity.

→ It is a vector quantity (which has both magnitude and direction).

→ It is positive, negative or zero.

→ It is smaller than distance.

→ It depends upon final and initial velocity.
