Answer:

The variation of displacement of a particle of the medium with the time at the given position when a wave propagates through the medium is called as the displacement time graph.

The variation of displacement of the particles of the medium at different positions with distance at the same time is called as the displacement distance graph.

In the displacement time graph if the number of waves at same time interval increases it means a time period of the wave has decreased that is its frequency has increased.

In the displacement distance graph the number of waves in the same distance increases it means that the Wave length of the wave has decreased so its frequency is increased.

Hope it helps you.....

Answer:

In a distance-time graph, time is on the horizontal axis, or x-axis, and distance is on the vertical axis, or y-axis. As an object moves, the distance it travels increases with time. ... You can use the steepness, or slope, of a line in a distance-time graph to determine the speed of an object if speed is constant.
