what is the difference between DNA and RNA​

Answer:

DNA has four nitrogen bases adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine and for RNA instead of thymine it has uracil. Also DNA is double stranded and RNA is single stranded which is why RNA can leave the nucleus and DNA can't leave the nucleus....

DNA:

- double stranded

- acts as genetic material in majority of organisms

- is very stable

- contains adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine..

RNA:

- single stranded

- acts as genetic material in some viruses only

- not as stable as DNA

- contains adenine, uracil, guanine and cytosine...
