Difference between Dodge tool and Burn tool:

Dodge Tool and Burn Tool are controls available in Photoshop. Both the controls are used for photo shopping images.

The main difference between the two tools is that dodge tool is used to make an image appear lighter whereas Burn Tool is used to make an image appear darker.

Both the tools work on the traditional dark-room technique.

While holding back the exposure (dodging) makes an image lighter, increasing the exposure (burning) makes an image appear darker.
