They both save water. Drip irrigation and sprinkler system helps to use less water as compare to other means of irrigation. Drip irrigation is used as long tubes are inserted into fields and one by one little drops fall on the soil. Sprinkler system is used as sprinklers are inserted into fields and when they are turned on water falls as sprinkels.
