what is the difference between duramater and piamater ? pls it's urgent.....

The pia mater is very thin and is in direct contact with the brain. It cannot remove it without disrupting brain tissue. The dura-mater is the outer most of the three layers of brain coverings. It is very tough (dura mater literally means "tough mother").
