Electrolytic Reduction

Electrolytic reduction involves passing of current through a molten metal oxide or an aqueous solution of the metal's salt. The molten metal oxide gets reduced to metal in the process.

Electrolytic Refining

Electrolytic refining is involved in the step of refining of impure metal to pure metal.Electrolytic refining consists of purifying an impure material, in this case a metal.

hy mate here is your answer

《ELECTROLYTIC REDUCTION》

it is brought by passing electric current to molten salt . this process is called electrolysis . during this process negative charges electrode acts as a powerful reducing agent by supply electrons to reduce metal ions into metals

《ELECTROLYTIC REFFINING 》

☆☆refining means purifying impure metals☆☆

in this we do refining by electrolysis process
many metals like Ag , Pb etc are refined electrolytically . in this process electric current is use to purify the impure metals . impurities of metals settle down at bottom of anode as anode mud .

hope it's help you dear
