ATOMS: Smallest part of matter that cannot exist nature free.

ELEMENTS:The elements is the purest form of a substance which can neither be divided into two or more than two substances having different properties nor be built up from different substances of different properties by any physical or chemical methods.
Element is the basic substance from which other substances are formed.

Atom is the smallest particle of an element which cannot exist alone. it takes part in chemical reaction . Am atom is composed of electrons ,protons and neutons . It does not decompse in chemical reaction.
Substances are found to contain only one kind of atoms or molecules these substances are called elements. it cannot be changed chemically or broke down into other substances
