What is the difference between Emission spectra and absorption spectra? ​

Answer:

Emission spectra is produced by analysing the radiant energy emitted by an excited substance and consists of some bright lines separated by dark spaces.

Absorption spectra is produced when white light is passed through a substance and transmitted light is analysed by a spectrograph it consists of dark lines in otherwise continuous spectrum.
