what is the difference between enzymes and hormones

harmones are chemcal messengers whereas enzymes are biological catalysts. harmones are released by the glands directly into the blood strem which then travel in whole body reaching their target organs or parts. this implifies that the site of orgin and site of action of harmones are diffrent
