Evergreen:-
1) No definite time to shed their leaves.
2) Common trees are ebony, rosewood, rubber, cinchona, etc.
3) Common animals are elephant, monkey, lemur, deer, etc.
4) Found in western Ghats, lakshadweep is, Andaman and Nikobar is, upper parts of Assam and Tamil Nadu coast.
Deciduous:-
1) Shed their leaves for about 6 - 8 weeks in dry summer.
2) Common tree are sal, neem, peepal, etc.
3) Common animals are pig, deer, tiger, lion, elephant, etc.
4) Found in Odisha, Himalayan range, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and eastern slopes of western Ghats.
