Fault-block Mountains are formed because of the collision of two tectonic plates.
The two plates push each other causing the huge blocks of rock to rise up. The tilted blocks of rocks separated from surrounding rocks by fault.
On the other hand collide Upwarped Mountains are created by the forces inside Earth. They are formed when blocks of earth’s crust are pushed upward at a hot spot by magma.
