what is the difference between ferrous and nonferrous Minerals

Ferrous minerals are those mineralswhich are magnetic in nature and have some Iron content whereas non-ferrous minerals are those which are not magnetic in nature and do not have any Iron content. Examples of Non-ferrous minerals: Kimberlite (The diamond mineral)
