Flora
1.)Flora is used to denote the plants and trees i.e the plant life in a particular area.
2.)Flora can make their own food
3.)India has about 47000 plant species.
4.)Flora remains at one place i.e non mobile

Fauna
1.) Fauna is used to denote the animal kingdom present in a particular geographical area
2.) They cant make their own food and obtain it from Fauna directly as well as Indirectly
3.) India has about 89000 species of fauna
4.) Flora can move i.e. mobile

e.g. redwood trees

Fauna: The animal species found in particular region is called fauna.
