Inflorescence:
- The flowers are arranged on the floral axis which is called as inflorescence
- It is a "cluster of flowers" which is arranged on a stem.
- It is comprises of a "main branch" or a "complicated arrangement of branches".
Flower:
- Flower bears 'floral leaves' which undergo sexual reproduction and give rise to fruits and seeds.
- The stalk of each single flower is called a pedicel.
- A flower which is called as a solitary flower if it is not a part of inflorescence and its stalk is also known as peduncle.
- A flower is modified shoot and it shows 'distinct nodes' and 'internodes', whereas inflorescence does not shows nodes and internodes.
