a food crop is a crop for vegetables and fruits.
a cash crop is a crop where products like coffee are grown and they can be sold to consumers.

Crops that are produced by someone for food rather than for money are called Food crops.
 eg:wheat, hemp, Miscanthus ,etc...

Crop produced for money rather than for use by the growers are called Cash crops.
eg: coffee, cocoa, sugar cane, bananas, oranges, cotton, jute, etc....
