what is the difference between for and to preposition. I am getting confused I have posted this question several times but no one explained me please help. some were saying to and some were saying for.if you know the correct answer tell the reason also. This is my first day already I have asked 7 questions and answered 21 questions... still brainlly is not helping​

Example:This is for my friend

I bought this book for my brother

To is generally used to mention someone

Example: Please send this work to mam

I already send pic to you
