Fragmentation - In this method , the body divides into many pieces and with that piece , a whole organism is developed.

Regeneration - In this method , the particular body part is regenerated again to form the part .

Fragmentation is an asexual mode of reproduction in simpler organisms, in which new independent offspring can be produced by mechanical fragmentation of the parent. Hydra is an example

Regeneration is the ability of certain organisms to regenerate certain body parts which can be lost by injury, or for flight stimuli(escaping a potential predator). Lizards tail is an example. It doesn't result in a new offspring.
