what is the difference between fragmentation and regenration???​

Fragmentation occurs when filament if organism attains it's maximum length ie on attaining maturity. wheraes. Regeneration cannot depends on accidentally be cut. so it is not considered as a method of reproduction.

fragmentation : it is the type of asexual reproduction mainly in algae . in this process the the one organism breaks down into two or more fragmentation

regeneration : in biology  , this means the process of renewal , restoration and growth that makes genomes , cell , organisms and ecosystem resilient to natural fluctuation or events that cause disturbance and damage . every species of one kind is capable of regeneration
