what is the difference between friction and gravity

friction is the term we use to describe the forces which occur between objects when they 'rub' against each other, gravity is the pull a larger object exercises towards a smaller object, the greater the difference in size the greater the gravity. beacause of earth gravity we have friction between our feet and the surfaces we walk on.
