Galvanic cell and voltaic cell are the same thing ,just under different names. The Galvanic cells named after Luigi galvanic ,consists of two different metals connected by a salt bridge or a porous disk between the individual dual half- cells. It is also known as voltaic cell or electrochemical cell.
