what is the difference between gas and vapour

There is a very minute difference between the two. A gas remains in the gaseous state at NTP whereas vapours are in gaseous state at different conditions from NTP.For example,oxygen is a gas but water vapor is vapour. Because at NTP, water is in liquid state. But oxygen is in gaseous state at NTP.

NTP- NORMAL TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE- 20 degree celcius temperature and 1 atm pressure.
