The fundamental difference between the state of gas and the state of vapor is: substances as vapors can be liquefied, whereas substances as gases can not be liquefied. Vapor in its natural state is a solid or liquid at room temperature.

steam is vaporized water.there is a fundamental difference between the state of the gas and the state of vapour; substances as vapour can be liquefied wherr as substance of gases cannot be liquefied .the word vapour is in the natrual state is asolid or liquid at room temperature
