What is the difference between glucose and fructose with reference to isomers?? I mean which one has what difference in arrangement of atoms?

Answer:

Structural isomers. They differ with respect to their functional group. Glucose has an aldehyde group & Fructose has a keto group and hence they are called aldose- ketose isomers. With respect to the optical activity glucose is dextro rotatory ( hence called dextrose) & Fructose is levorotatory ( levulose)
