good is more of an adjective whereas, well is an adverb
ad adjectives modifies a noun, so good is used to describe something or someone
whereas, an adverb modifies a verb... so well modifies an adjective or a verb or another adverb itself

Good basically describes job, which is moreover a noun, so good is an adjective, as we know an word which is describing a noun considered as adjective.
Another side, Well is an adverb describing how the job was performed.

discern if these words are being used actively to decide whether to follow them with good or well.
