H is the elemental symbol of Hydrogen.

When we write "H" it means one atom of Hydrogen but when we write H2 it means that there are 2 atoms of Hydrogen .

Similarly if we write H3,H5 H10 it will mean that 3,5 and 10 Hydrogen atoms and they will be a Hydrogen molecule

For example, the chemical formula of water molecule is H2O ,meaning 2 Hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom . it means that a water molecule is made up of 2 Hydrogen and 1 oxygen atom .

The same rule for for other atoms also like the The chemical formula of carbon dioxide is CO2 ,meaning 1 atom of carbon and 2 atoms. of oxygen.
