Hi !

Homologous Organs :-

Homologous organs are those , with same body structure .

The functions performed by them is different.

Their appearances are different.

They  have a common ancestor.

Eg : Forelimbs of humans, reptiles ( they have same structure, and different functions)

Analogous Organs :-

Analogous organs are those , with different body structure .

The functions performed by them is similar (same).

Their appearances are also similar.

They do not have a common ancestor

Answer:

Homologous organs : The organs of body that have similar origin but different function.

Don't get confused here. Let me give you an example to make it clearer.

E.g. The wings of bird and our forelimbs. More example is like-

Our arm is used for a variety of functions while the lizard's and the cat's are used for walking an climbing, the whale's for swimming, the frog's for support and the bird's and the bat's for flying. You might have understood now:)

Analogous organs: Those organs having different origin but same function.

The best example is wings of bird and bat.
