Horizontal power sharing :

it is a system of check and balance .It include legislature , executive and judiciary.

Vertical power sharing:

In vertical power sharing the three mapart are central, State and local. Here all power is shared among different levels .

Power share among the various organs of the body is called horizontal power sharing whereas power share among the different levels of the government is called vertical power sharing.

The legislative, judiciary are the example of horizontal power sharing whereas the central and local government is the example of vertical power sharing.
