*The plant which gives support or supplies food to the parasite plant is called host.
*This plant stores food in the form of fruits or roots.
*host prepares food from air, water and carbon-di-oxide as in the process of photosynthesis.
Parasite:-
*The plant which depends on host plant for its food needs.
Ex:-Cuscuta.
*parasitic plant develop special roots called haustoria, which penetrate into the tissues of the host plant and absorb food materials from them.
*parasite absorbs food from host plant on which it is climbing.
