A hot desert will have sand dunes .
hot desert temperature will be 43 Celsius to 49 Celsius and in night 15 Celsius example sahara
in hot deserts animals like reptiles are found commonly.

in cold desert there are no sand dunes .
the temperature of cold desert will be - 50 Celsius to - 20 Celsius . example Arctic desert
animals found in cold desert is polar bear , penguin.

Hot deserts :- 1 - they are mostly located on the western margins of the continents .

2- the temperature remains very high throughout the year

3- some impotant hot desert of the world are sahara desert in africa the Thar desert in India and the atacama in South America

4- cactus shrubs and bushes are the common vegetation in this area

Cold deserts :- 1- the cold desert are mostly found around the polar regions

2- the temperature remains below the freezing point for the major parts of the Year

3- the main areas of Northern parts of Siberia in Russia and northern parts of Canada

4- the common vegetation is comprised of mosses and lichens etc....
