Plants gametes can be isogamous, anisogamous but human gametes are always oogamous.
Isogamous means the ♂ & ♀ gametes are structurally and functionally similar
Anisogamous means the ♂ & ♀ gametes are structurally slightly dissimilar and functionally may or may not be similar.
Oogamous means the ♂ & ♀ gametes are both structurally and functionally very very dissimilar to each other.
