- PLANT REPRODUCTION:
- Plants usually show asexual mode of reproduction (Few exceptions are there) despite of formation of gametes
- Plants also show vegetative mode of reproduction ,such as grafting, bud formation etc.
- They are mostly dependent on pollinating agencies
- These reproduce frequently in a year as gametes are frequently formed
- The zygote thus formed lives independently until it grows into a complete adult
- HUMAN REPRODUCTION:
- Humans strictly show SEXUAL MODE OF REPRODUCTION due to formation of gametes
- These do not show asexual mode of reproduction
- They do not depend on any external agencies
- They can Copulate anytime in the year
- Zygote formed is dependent on mother till 9 months of GESTATION PERIOD
- Sexual v|s Asexual reproduction
- Sexual mode of reproduction strictly requires Two parents
- Most of the plants are bisexual or UNIPARENTAL
- Secondly it requires formation of gametes
- Asexual mode of reproduction Strictly require Only and Only one parent
- can occur with or without formation of gametes
