Difference between Impact and Non-Impact printers:
Impact printer: These belong to classic type of printer which is very similar to a typewriter. It does the printing work with huge noise and the speed is comparatively less when compared to non-impact printer. It gets direct contact with the “ribbon” and then print the content. It is still in use only because one reason where it could print “multi-part forms”.
Non-impact printer: These uses “laser, xerographic, etc” to produce high-quality print with less or no noise.
