Difference between Indian and American Secularism:

1) While the Indian State follows the strategyof positive intervention, the American State strictly follows the policy of the separation of religion from politics and does not interfere in the religious activitiesof any religion.

2) There was no need to introduce secularism inIndian constitution. ... The primary difference between the American and Indian secularismis that in the American secularism, the state does not intervene in religious affairs, but in the Indian secularism, the state can intervene and it often does.
