What is the difference between inner core & outer core?

the earth's inner core is a solid ball of iron, nickel and other metals , while the outer core is liquid metal composed of iron and nickel well.........The outer core is believed to be about 2,300 kilometres (1,400miles) thick, and is located 2,890 kilometres (1,400 miles) beneath the surface of earth.

Main difference is that the inner core is a solid structure (Ni,Fe, and other metals) whereas outer core is semi solid. Even, the temperature of the inner core is estimated to be greater than that of the outer core.
