⏩Interstital Defect :-
When some constituent particles (atom or molecules) occupy an interstital site the crystal is said to be interestial defect.
⏩Frenkel defect :-
This defect is shown by ionic solids. The smaller ion ( usually cation) is dislocated from its normal site to an interestial site. eg. - ZnS, AgCl
