When the hydrogen bond is present between two atoms of two different molecules,then it is known intermolecular hydrogen bond. When the hydrogen bond is present between two atoms of the same molecule, then it is known as intramolecular hydrogen bond.

Intramolecular : Attraction ( not bonding) between hydrogen and another electronegative atom like oxygen happens inside the very same single molecule.
Intermolecular : As the name states, the attraction ( not bonding ) happens between different molecules not inside the molecule itself like intramolecular bonding .
